About the Role
The role is responsible for supervising a specialised team that maintains medical equipment across Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Sydney Local Health District. The position provides leadership in the delivery of repair, testing, and preventative maintenance services in accordance with AS/NZS 3551, while providing biomedical engineering expertise and technical support to team members.
The position will coordinate and prioritise work within their area of responsibility, ensuring all maintenance activities and services are accurately documented and completed to required standards.
The role also supports workforce capability by providing and coordinating in-service training for Biomedical Engineering (BME) staff and clinical teams to promote the safe and effective use of medical equipment.
