We're Hiring: Business Analysis & Quality Assurance Intern | Yusatech (Melbourne, VIC — Onsite) Are you eager to build real-world skills across business analysis, software testing, and technical documentation?
Yusatech, a Melbourne-based IT solutions company, is looking for a motivated intern to join our team and work on Edunixo, our education technology platform. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle, from understanding business requirements through to testing and documenting the final product. About the RoleAs our Business Analysis & QA Intern, you will work closely with our development team to help shape, test, and document Edunixo- Yusatech Flagship Product. You will be mentored throughout the placement and gain practical exposure to how requirements become working, well-documented software. What You'll Do Business Analysis ✔️ Assist in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements ✔️ Help translate user needs into clear user stories and process flows ✔️ Support requirement reviews and stakeholder feedback sessions Quality Assurance ✔️ Execute manual test cases across web and mobile environments ✔️ Identify, document, and track bugs and defects ✔️ Perform regression, functional, and usability testing ✔️ Collaborate with developers to verify fixes and improvements Documentation ✔️ Create and maintain user manuals and help guides for Edunixo ✔️ Produce clear, user-friendly documentation for both end users and internal teams What We're Looking For ✔️ Currently enrolled in a qualification in IT, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field where a placement forms part of your course requirements — OR currently completing a Professional Year Program ✔️ Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters in everything this role touches ✔️ Strong written communication skills — you can explain technical concepts in plain language ✔️ A methodical approach to problem-solving ✔️ Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) ✔️ A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Nice to Have ➕ An understanding of, or genuine interest in, the education technology (EdTech) sector ➕ Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or Confluence ➕ Exposure to requirements documentation, user stories, or process mapping ➕ Basic knowledge of SQL or web technologies (HTML/CSS) What You'll Gain 🌱 Practical experience across business analysis, QA, and documentation on a live product 🌱 Mentoring from experienced IT professionals 🌱 Exposure to the full software development lifecycle 🌱 A reference and portfolio experience to kick-start your career 🌱 Potential for a future employment opportunity for the right candidate Details 📍 Location: Onsite — Melbourne, VIC 🕒 Duration: 12 months 📅 Commitment: Part-time and full-time options available 💼 Type: Unpaid internship.
