Warehouse & Maintenance Assistant – Jaymel Airconditioning

About the role

Working alongside our Warehouse & Maintenance Coordinator, you'll help ensure our warehouse, equipment, vehicles and facilities are maintained to a high standard so our technicians have everything they need to get the job done. No two days are the same. One day you might be receiving deliveries and organising inventory, while the next you could be assisting with equipment maintenance, vehicle checks or workshop improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

• Assisting with inventory control and stock management

• Picking and preparing materials for technicians

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse

• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory audits

• Organising tools, equipment and consumables

• Assisting with equipment inspections and maintenance tasks

• Supporting vehicle, plant and facility upkeep

• Assisting with Test & Tag activities (training provided)

• Helping maintain outdoor and storage areas

About you

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Enjoys practical, hands-on work

• Has good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Is willing to learn new skills and take instruction

• Has basic maintenance, trade assistant, warehouse or labouring experience

• Holds a current driver's licence

• Has a forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
