About us

Total GP Care Norwood offers both traditional GP services and Urgent Care Services (Total Urgent Care) to help ease the burden on our hospital system. Our Norwood site has a large treatment area equipped to deal with a range of minor injuries and illnesses, and is complemented with onsite radiology, pathology, specialists and allied health. Along with the experienced doctors and nursing support, we aim to provide outstanding patient care in an efficient and timely manner.

Qualifications & experience

• Best Practice software Basic IT skills

• Experience working in medical reception desirable

• Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with patients

Tasks & responsibilities

• Taking phone calls, booking in patients on Best Practice software and dealing with patient administration queries.

• Processing of billings via Best Practice through the use of HiCaps and Tyro.

• Scanning, faxing, emailing and other correspondence.

Benefits

• Flexible rostering with extended clinic operating hours (7 days per week). This includes working outside of business hours, during weekends and/or on public holidays. Penalty rates apply for after hours work.
