About the role
Introduction to Opportunity
Peninsula Leisure is seeking experienced and motivated Duty Managers to support the operation of our award-winning facilities, PARC and PINES. Offering $43-$45 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% super, flexible shifts, complimentary facility access and a central Frankston location, this is an exciting opportunity to lead teams, deliver exceptional customer experiences and make a positive impact within our community.
About Us
Peninsula Leisure (PL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Frankston City Council, is an industry leading organisation focused on reimagining community health and wellbeing experiences, currently through the management of Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) and The Pines Forest Aquatic Centre (Pines), Frankston Skate Park and The Centenary Park Golf Course.

Responsibilities of this role include:
The remuneration for this position is aligned with Level 7 of the Fitness Industry Award.
Key qualities we are looking for:
· Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead by example and motivate others
· Strong knowledge of the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations (GSPO) and plant room operations
· A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
· Sound judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure
· Strong understanding of risk management and occupational health and safety practices within a leisure centre environment
· Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills
· The ability to embody and promote Peninsula Leisure's values in all aspects of their work
