SA Group of Specialists is a dynamic, progressive multi-disciplinary practice operating across five key locations: Western Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital, Tennyson Centre, Calvary Adelaide Hospital, and 480 Specialist Centre.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team on a full time basis at Calvary Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide.

About the Role

As a valued member of our front-of-house team, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Manager and delivering a professional, welcoming, and seamless experience for our Specialists and patients.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities will Include:

Providing exceptional customer service to patients, Specialists, and colleagues

• Answering and managing phone enquiries in a professional and efficient manner

• Welcoming patients with warmth, empathy, and professionalism

• Coordinating specialist clinic and theatre bookings

• Managing patient billing for consultations and hospital admissions

• Processing Medicare and Private Health Fund claims accurately

• Liaising closely with Specialists and the broader team to ensure tasks and workflows are completed efficiently and on time

About You

You are energetic, personable, and thrive in a team environment. Previous experience in Reception or Administration, particularly within healthcare, is highly regarded but not essential. We’re looking for someone who is positive, approachable and team-focused, with a willingness to learn and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional service to our Specialists and patients. Being a collaborative and supportive team member is an important part of this role.
