The Opportunity

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a Transport & Logistics Officer based in Perth, with flexibility to travel to and work from our Sandy Ridge site as required. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing organisation where strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management are key to success.

Reporting to and working closely with the Transport Coordinator, the Transport & Logistics Officer plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the logistics function. Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring inbound and outbound freight movements, scheduling road and rail transport, coordinating deliveries to site, managing freight documentation, maintaining assets, and reconciling supplier invoices.

This role ensures all transport, receival, despatch, compliance, and asset management activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements contributing directly to the smooth operation of the logistics team and the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Booking and coordinate incoming deliveries to site through our booking system

• Review and verify carrier documentations prior to arriving onsite

• Raising Purchase Orders and EOM reconciliation

• Assisting with EOM invoices and reports

• Transport scheduling and planning (road and rail solutions)

• Manage carrier onboarding documentations

• Fill in for onsite logistics to cover leave or support due to project work

• Flexibility to travel to and work from our Sandy Ridge site as required

• Undertake all other related duties appropriate to the position

Personal Attributes:

• Previous experience in logistics, transport operations, finance administration, or waste management

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Reporting Relationships  

Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, this role will be based in Perth and will work closely with the Operations Team.
