Cmt (Third Party) Production Co-Ordinator (Cpt)

An opportunity exists for a CMT Controller to join our Garment Development team. The CMT (Cut, Make, and Trim) Controller is responsible for and oversees the manufacturing, production, and logistical coordination between fashion/apparel brands and external clothing factories. They ensure garments are produced to quality standards, delivered on time ONTIME and INFULL, and accurately tracked within budget ensuring very tight controls on raw materials.

Essential Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum of 3- 5 years’ of production coordination/management or supply chain experience, ideally in the apparel or retail sector.
• Other relevant skills pertaining to garment manufacturing, i.e. cutting, cutting room, laying up, grading, marker making, sewing machines, garment technology and quality control advantageous.
• Relevant Diploma in Production Management would be advantage.
• Strong proficiency in inventory and supply chain software.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• Must have excellent math skills, with the ability to analyse variances in material allowances, costing, and reject percentages.
• Excellent telephonic and communication skills, with excellent negotiation skills for liaising with factory management and internal production teams.
• Problem solving skills.
• Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Target orientated and able to work under pressure.
• Driver’s Licence
