Health and Injury Coordinator

The Opportunity

Come join our Health and Wellbeing team on a permanent 8/6 roster, FIFO ex Perth (back-to-back role).

This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused person with a background in health or related field who is looking to develop their career in occupational health and workers compensation.

You will be responsible for managing work and non-work related injuries and illnesses coordinating effective early intervention strategies to all cases to achieve the best possible outcomes.  The role will also involve working closely with the Health and Safety team on Health and Wellbeing projects. You will report to the Manager – Health & Injury Management.

The role involves managing CPM’s Workers Compensation claims which requires strong communication skills as you will liaise with a large number of key stakeholders which include; doctors, other medical professionals, contractors, Workers' Compensation Insurers, Human Resources and the Health and Safety Team.

About you

The Successful applicant will have:

• Knowledge of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act and Regulations 2023 or willingness to learn
• Preferred Workers Compensation Case Management experience, not essential, as we will provide comprehensive Workers Compensation and Injury Management training for the suitable candidate.
• A proactive approach and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Coordinating onsite Health and Wellness Programs
• Allied Health Tertiary education, is preferred not but essential
• A current WA Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
