Payroll Officer - Part Time

• Mission Foods is currently seeking a dedicated part-time Payroll professional to join our team to effectively administer the payroll process for 300+ Mission Foods employees. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

• Professionalism as well as exceptional time management skills.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this key role will require strong experience using Micropay Payroll Software and will encompass the ability to liaise effectively with staff regarding payroll information and advice. Additionally, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player, have a high capability of solving complex issues and a proven ability to meet deadlines.  

 The successful applicant should have:

• 3+ years experience in processing payroll for a large company.

• Solid experience using Micropay or similar Payroll Software

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing including year end ATO reporting.

• Experience using Kronos or similar time attendance software

• Thorough understanding of interpreting awards and legislation

• Solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to maintain employee records and accuracy of data

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use initiative and work independently

• Excellent attention to detail

• Constantly thrive for improvement in the payroll process including IT automation.
