Volunteers
Location: IRT Residential Care Homes and Retirement Villages - Sydney

Make a positive difference to our residents' lives by helping support their health and wellbeing as a Volunteer. IRT volunteer program allows for more flexibility and informal interactions, personalised activities and strengthens our ability to response to individual's preferences.

We're looking for people that are warm, caring, compassionate and are team players who would like to volunteer in the below Residential Care Homes and Retirement Villages;

• IRT Thomas Holt - Sans Souci
• IRT Thomas Holt - Kirrawee
• IRT Berala on the Park - Auburn
• IRT Peakhurst
• IRT Macarthur
  

We have many exciting volunteer opportunities to choose from including;

• Wellbeing Services - assisting with activities and friendly visits
• Spiritual Support
• Community Access support - assisting with outings or driving the bus for outings

We're looking for volunteers who are warm and caring, compassionate and are a team player, have good communication and interpersonal skills. Volunteers will need to undergo a National Criminal History Check, complete other paperwork and checks relevant to their volunteer role, and attend volunteer training sessions and inductions.

All volunteers will be provided with a thorough onboarding program and have access to ongoing training in-line with your volunteer role. To ensure all volunteers feel supported, IRT volunteers have access to free and confidential EAP services providing support on a range of personal and volunteer related issues.
