Resolve Mining Solutions is growing, and we want our systems and processes to mature ahead of that growth.

We're looking for someone who can help us build a smarter, simpler and more scalable business.

This role isn't to help us do more administration. It's to help us need less administration.

You'll work directly with our Managing Director and across the broader business to simplify processes, improve systems, automate repetitive work, improve access to information and make practical use of AI and emerging technology.

This isn't a traditional administration, IT support or business analyst role. We're looking for someone who sees an inefficient process and instinctively thinks "there must be a better way", and then actually builds the better way.

What you'll do

• Take loosely defined business problems from "this isn't working very well" through to an implemented solution.

• Identify and simplify inefficient, manual or duplicated processes before automating them.

• Build practical solutions using AI, automation, low-code tools and existing business systems.

• Improve recurring processes such as month-end reporting and management routines.

• Develop dashboards and management information that put the right information in managers' hands at the right time.

• Improve consultant productivity through better document, report, CV, project and technical templates.

• Improve how information is organised and accessed across Teams and SharePoint.

• Build scalable onboarding, training and process documentation.

• Continually identify new improvement opportunities rather than waiting for a predefined project list.

Some initial projects could include automating elements of month-end, redesigning how consultant CVs are managed, building management dashboards and improving project and document templates.

About you

We're looking for someone who is:

• Curious, highly organised and naturally interested in improving how things work.

• A strong problem solver who enjoys being given a problem rather than a detailed set of instructions.

• Proactive, self-directed and a strong finisher.

• Technically capable and comfortable learning new software and tools.

• Interested in, and ideally experienced with, AI, automation and emerging technology.

• Curious about tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, Power Automate, low-code/no-code platforms, agents and APIs. You don't need to be a developer or know all of these tools already.

• Pragmatic and able to find solutions without over-engineering.

• Comfortable constructively challenging existing processes.

• A strong communicator who can work effectively with everyone from administration staff through to senior technical consultants and leadership.

We're less concerned about your exact job title or industry background than your track record. You may have worked in business improvement, business systems, operations, automation, consulting or professional services.

What matters is that you can show us examples of problems you've understood, solutions you've built and improvements you've actually implemented.

Mining experience is not essential.

The opportunity

You'll work closely with our Managing Director and have significant autonomy to identify opportunities, develop solutions and make a genuine impact across a growing technical consulting business.

We don't just want you to work through our existing improvement backlog.

Eventually, we want you to create the backlog.
