Parabellum International are seeking qualified Emergency Services Officers to join an operational team in the Toowoomba region. These opportunities offer a drive-in, drive-out arrangement with accommodation provided and an immediate start preferred.

About The Role

Working in a safety-critical aviation environment, you will support emergency preparedness and response activities, maintain operational readiness, and contribute to a disciplined, high-performing team. The role requires sound judgement, effective communication, teamwork and a strong commitment to safety.

Successful Candidates Will Work An Early/late Roster

Early shift: 7:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:00am - 5:00pm FridayLate shift: 2:00pm - 11:30pm Monday to Thursday

Desirable qualifications and experience

The following qualifications, competencies and experience will be highly regarded:

Crash Crew Aviation experiencePUA20613 - Certificate II in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations), with Senior First Aid or equivalentHoist litter and tag-line training in accordance with Annex E to SI(AVN)OPS 3-219, by day and night, in all weather conditions and across relevant military or civilian aircraft, with six-monthly currency maintainedAW139 litter qualification, or equivalent, by day and night in all weather conditionsTag-line qualification by day and night in all weather conditionsEmergency Site Controller qualification: PUA30613 - Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations), with Advanced First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation or equivalentRescue-set operations experience using battery-operated equipment or equivalentExperience with Flite 13 breathing apparatus, or equivalent, for initial rescue operationsExperience conducting regular emergency response exercise confirmation training and maintaining auditable training records
