Production Assistant

With our busy season approaching, we are building a pool of reliable and enthusiastic Casual Production Assistants to support our team from October through February.

As a Casual Production Assistant, you will work across a variety of production activities, including:

• Product assembly and hands-on production work

• Picking and packing customer orders

• Labelling and packaging finished products

• Operating production equipment

• Preparing orders for accurate and timely despatch

• Conducting quality checks to ensure products are accurate and meet our quality standards

• Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas

No experience necessary, the right attitude, reliability and attention to detail are the most important qualities.

You will be well suited to this role if you:

• Are dependable, punctual and ready to contribute

• Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work

• Can follow written instructions and established processes

• Are comfortable completing repetitive, hands-on tasks

• Can maintain accuracy while working at a productive pace

• Can remain professional during busy production periods

The work may involve standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks.

We are recruiting for:

• Day-shift positions

• Afternoon-shift positions 

• Flexible team members who can work across either shift

Our peak season runs from October through February, with the greatest requirement for staff during December and January.

Applicants must clearly identify:

• Whether they are available for day shift, afternoon shift or both

• Any unavailable dates between October and February

Hours will vary according to production requirements, with fewer shifts likely during October and November and increased opportunities during December and January.

This exciting position is based in Dandenong South, so we require you to be a local in Melbourne, possess reliable transportation, and have the right to work in Australia.
