Details: This role provides a range of general maintenance services across ACT Government-owned and managed properties, including the installation and removal of flags and banners and the maintenance of non-building assets such as fountains and memorials.
The position is primarily field-based and physically demanding, requiring the successful applicant to undertake a range of manual and practical maintenance activities across various locations. The role delivers programmed and responsive maintenance services and works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and deliver works, complete required work orders, documentation and invoicing as part of your daily duties.
The position also provides day-to-day guidance, training and support to less experienced officers and may undertake supervision when required. While supporting the GSO8 Maintenance Supervisor, the role remains a hands-on position with a strong focus on delivering safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance services in the field.
