The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be a hands-on leader supporting daily operations, mentoring staff, and elevating guest experience. You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager and Operations Team to ensure every shift runs smoothly, every team member feels empowered, and every guest leaves delighted.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Culture

• Lead by example on the floor, fostering pride and accountability

• Support staff training, performance feedback, and morale-building

• Maintain accurate records and smooth communication across platforms (e.g., Deputy)

• Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure efficiency and ownership

Guest Experience & Service Standards

• Build strong relationships with regulars and new guests alike

• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy

• Maintain a strong floor presence and uphold service excellence

• Monitor food presentation and service quality

Operational Oversight

• Assist with rostering, inventory, and compliance

• Maintain venue cleanliness, ambiance, and equipment standards

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations

• Contribute to internal promotions, events, and marketing initiatives

Financial & Strategic Support

• Assist with P&L monitoring, wage control, and cost management

• Support stocktakes and inventory accuracy

• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within premium hospitality (minimum 2 years expirience)

• Calm, clear communicator—even under pressure

• Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and team dynamics

• Familiarity with systems like Abacus, SevenRooms, and TYRO

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

• A collaborative mindset and genuine care for people
