Southwest Eye Surgeons is a busy, growing, specialist medical/surgical Ophthalmology Practice in South Bunbury. 

About the role

The position is as a Medical receptionist in our busy specialist ophthalmology practice,  Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm, full-time and part-time positions available. Primarily based in Bunbury, it will also involve occasional travel to our Busselton practice if required.  You'll join our great team of reception staff, learning and developing in a supportive environment. The successful applicant will have the possibility of further growth and career development within our administration team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

We are looking for a candidate who: 

• Has previous medical reception experience and familiar with Genie Medical Software.

• Has previous experience with medical typing, incoming and outgoing correspondence.

• Is looking for a long term career.

• Is a team player with excellent communication skills.

• Has confidence over the telephone and a real attention to detail.

• Is wanting a position of employment to give you that real sense of achievement at the end of every day.

Applicants with previous experience in Medical Reception and Bookkeeping are preferred but not essential and applicants available for an immediate start are highly desirable.
