Payroll Administrator

KPMG's Finance division are looking for a highly talented National Payroll Administrator to join our growing Payroll team on a full-time basis offering high-quality end-to-end payroll processing services to the Australian firm.

Your Opportunity

As a Payroll Administrator, you will work closely with the Payroll Team Leader to deliver payroll processing services on a weekly and monthly basis. You will be responsible for ensuring that the payroll is processed in line with local rules and legislation. You will also be responsible for leveraging your experience to support continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Your role will include:

• Assisting in process of weekly and monthly payrolls for the employees of the Australian firm.
• Assist and Process payroll related third party payments, including superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax.
• Provide reconciliation on payroll data as and when required, including individual LSL reconciliations.
• Assist in reporting to external agencies including the Australian Bureau of Stats and Centrelink.
• Identify improvement strategies in processes, systems and procedures to maximise efficiency and accuracy.
• Developing strong relationships with Finance and People & Inclusion.

Your Experience

• Strong working knowledge of payroll in Australia.
• Experienced in payroll administration and processing in a large organisation.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills across all levels of the business.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with enthusiasm and drive.
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Fast and accurate data entry with strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of large payroll systems such as SAP is desirable.
