Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Health Assessments and assist with patient care.

• Administer vaccinations and immunisations.

• Oversee the management of vaccines and ensure compliance with Cold Chain Management protocols.

• Conduct ECG, Spirometry, and Ear Syringing.

• Provide Wound Care and Dressings.

• Assist with minor procedures and Support doctors in daily practice operations.

• Perform sterilisation of medical instruments and maintain stock control.

• Coordinate the recall and reminder system for patient follow-ups.

• Manage paperwork related to Chronic Disease Management and Care Plan Reviews.

• Oversee the coordination and maintenance of the treatment room.

• Maintain accurate records in PRODA, Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) Online, and the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).

Key Competencies & Skills:

• Strong General Practice nursing skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy clinical environment.

• Experience with health assessments, chronic disease management support, vaccinations, wound care, ECGs, recalls, and treatment room procedures.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, workflows, and processes.

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and ensures compliance with Australian healthcare regulations, reporting requirements, infection control standards, and clinic policies.

• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Patient-centred approach with warmth, empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for delivering quality care.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• High standards of professionalism, accountability, honesty, and reliability.

• Positive attitude toward feedback with the ability to learn, grow, and implement change constructively.

• Flexibility to work morning and/or evening shifts according to roster requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Victorian Driver's License.

• Current AHPRA Registration.

• Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate.

• Current National Police Check.
