On your continuous shift roster of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off, you’ll spend 50% of your time leading, coordinating, planning, and developing your team, and 50% working alongside them — building trust, capability, and a culture of safety and performance.

 What You’ll Own

Leadership & Coordination (50%)

• Lead and coordinate shift activities to meet production, safety, quality, and cost targets.

• Plan labour, manage leave, and align resources to daily production priorities.

• Run structured pre-starts, shift meetings, and handovers that keep everyone aligned.

• Maintain accurate records, complete shift reports, and monitor KPIs.

• Coach, support, and develop employees — building capability and future leaders.

• Communicate clearly across shifts, maintenance, logistics, and management.

• Lead problem-solving, continuous improvement, and incident response.

• Fulfil the role of Chief Warden during emergencies.

Active Crew Member (50%)

• Work alongside the team to complete production tasks and maintain workflow.

• Operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, support changeovers, and assist during peak periods.

• Maintain Level 5 operational competency and uphold safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

• Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and support while on the floor.

• Model the behaviours, teamwork, and accountability expected of the crew.

 What You Bring

• Experience in production, operations, or manufacturing leadership.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead people while staying hands-on and grounded in operations.

• A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).

• Confidence supervising up to 30 employees in a fast-paced environment.
