Category Manager Laser Skin & Body

Own the category. Drive the growth.

We’re looking for a Category Manager – Skin, Laser & Body to influence the commercial performance and growth of these categories across our national network.

Reporting to the Head of Category (Commercial), you’ll turn category strategy into action across pricing, promotions, new product development, suppliers and network performance, with a clear focus on revenue, margin, utilisation and customer value.

About the role

This is a hands-on commercial role where you’ll understand what’s happening across the network, identify opportunities and work with the business to turn insights into action. You’ll have genuine influence over what we offer, how we price and package it, where we innovate and how we drive category performance.

Key responsibilities

Category Performance

• Monitor category performance across the national network.
• Identify trends, opportunities and performance gaps and turn insights into actions.
• Partner with Business Development Managers, Commercial Finance Partners and Franchise Partners to drive sales, mix and utilisation.
• Develop and monitor key commercial KPIs, including room and device utilisation.
• Support budget builds and challenge growth assumptions.

Pricing & Promotions

• Support pricing and promotional strategy and execution.
• Monitor market and competitor pricing to maintain a competitive offering.
• Identify opportunities to improve packaging, programs and AOV.
• Partner with Marketing to optimise campaigns and promotional performance.

New Product Development

• Identify local and international NPD opportunities.
• Assess opportunities through a commercial lens, including revenue, margin, utilisation and network fit.
• Partner with Education and Network Category Performance on feasibility and rollout.
• Monitor commercial performance post-launch and identify opportunities to optimise.

Suppliers

• Manage day-to-day relationships with key suppliers and Account Managers.
• Coordinate incentives, device rollouts, movements and issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier outcomes and minimise device downtime.

About you

You’re a commercially minded Category Manager who enjoys understanding performance, finding opportunities and making things happen. You’ll bring:

• Experience in category management, commercial management, trading, buying, product or a similar role.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience using data and insights to drive sales, margin, utilisation or customer outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence operating in ambiguity and applying commercial judgement.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Procurement or Product.
• Supplier management or negotiation experience would be highly regarded.
• Experience in retail, healthcare, beauty, aesthetics, consumer or a distributed/franchise network would be advantageous.
