About BRAMS
Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that has been delivering comprehensive, culturally safe primary health care to the Broome community for over 45 years. As an approved NDIS provider, BRAMS supports Aboriginal children and families to thrive through culturally responsive disability and early intervention services.
About the Role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team, with a primary focus on NDIS and early childhood intervention. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Aboriginal children and their families across Broome and the Kimberley.
Working across clinic, home, community and early learning settings, you will deliver assessment and therapy that supports children's development, function and participation in everyday activities. You will complete functional and developmental assessments, develop and implement family-centred therapy programs, prescribe and coordinate assistive technology, and provide education and capacity building for families, carers and educators. The role also includes participation in case reviews, care planning and multidisciplinary team collaboration, with practice that is high quality, culturally safe, trauma-aware and aligned to the BRAMS Model of Care and Quality Care Framework.
