About you

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses who are looking for a new challenge and the chance to expand their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. Working within our busy Day Surgery Unit, you will assist patients through every stage of their surgical experience, from preparation for surgery to post-recovery care and discharge home.

Our unit provides admissions for the entire facility, caring for patients undergoing day-only procedures, overnight admissions, and complex multi-night surgical stays. The role includes working across both Lingard Private Hospital and Lingard Day Surgery, helping to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients and their families.

Essential criteria           

• Current AHPRA Registration

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills

• A commitment to a team environment

• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication

• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement

Desirable criteria

• Previous experience working in a surgical admission / discharge setting
