The Role
An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced compliance and regulatory leader to join Crown Perth as Senior Manager Compliance & Regulatory Affairs. Reporting to the General Manager Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, you will play a critical role in leading and managing compliance and regulatory functions across the property.
This is a high-profile leadership role with significant exposure to Executive Leadership, the Board, regulators and key operational stakeholders. You will provide senior support across Crown Perth’s compliance and regulatory workstreams, ensuring strong governance, business-wide compliance capability and effective management of critical regulatory relationships.
The success of this role hinges on your ability to build trusted, productive and respectful relationships with regulators while effectively influencing senior business leaders. We are seeking an accomplished professional with exceptional diplomacy, sound judgement and the credibility to navigate complex regulatory matters, manage competing stakeholder interests and deliver positive outcomes in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee implementation of Crown Perth’s Compliance Framework and compliance processes
Lead compliance monitoring programs and regulatory change management activities
Manage regulatory engagement, including ongoing interactions with liquor and gaming regulators and relevant government agencies
Provide strategic compliance and regulatory advice to executives and business leaders
Ensure visibility of compliance performance, regulatory obligations and emerging issues across the business
Lead and develop a high-performing compliance team through a collaborative coaching-based leadership approach
Support major regulatory, governance and operational transformation programs
About you
You are an experienced compliance, regulatory, risk or governance leader with a proven track record operating in a highly regulated environment. While gaming industry experience would be highly regarded, we also welcome applications from professionals within financial services, government agencies, energy, resources, consulting and other complex regulated sectors.
You will bring
Excellent diplomacy skills in dealing with regulators and senior business leaders
Strong experience working with compliance and regulatory frameworks, policies and governance programs
Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
Advanced analytical and report-writing capability
Strong project management discipline and attention to detail
Proven ability to lead teams and solve complex problems
The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity

Casino Employee Licence (Perth)
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
