Boilermaker / Welder – Heavy Equipment & Fleet Maintenance

BWC is looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join our close-knit workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys a variety of work, from workshop fabrication and repairs to occasional field service work on site.

You'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of construction and mining equipment, including heavy machinery, heavy vehicles and light vehicles, helping to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

• Perform welding, fabrication, repairs and maintenance on construction and mining equipment

• Repair and maintain heavy and light vehicles

• Carry out structural and general fabrication work

• Attend site when required to complete breakdowns and maintenance

• Work safely while maintaining high standards of workmanship

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Welding

• Current Driver's Licence

• Current Construction White/Blue Card

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified boilermaker/welder

• Experience repairing and maintaining heavy machinery and heavy vehicles

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

• Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail

• High Risk Forklift Licence

• Experience working in construction, quarrying or mining environments

• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

• Experience with mobile plant repairs and modifications
