Heavy Equipment Trades Assistant

Are you mechanically minded, reliable and keen to build a career working with construction and earthmoving equipment?

Tutt Bryant Equipment is looking for a hands-on Trades Assistant to join our Mawson Lakes workshop. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, assist with new machine builds and gain practical experience with equipment from leading global brands including Yanmar, Sumitomo, Metso and BOMAG.

About The Role

Working alongside our experienced trades team, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with new machine buildsSupporting qualified mechanics with workshop tasksUnloading containersCompleting daily site and workshop checksMaintaining clean, safe and organised workshop areasFollowing company safety and environmental requirementsAssisting with other general workshop duties as required

About You

You will be a practical and dependable person with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in machinery or the mechanical field.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

Mechanical aptitude or an interest in the mechanical fieldThe ability to work independently and show initiativeGood time management skillsGood communication and literacy skillsA strong commitment to workplace safetyA current South Australian driver licenceFlexibility to work after hours when required

A current forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential. Forklift training may be provided if required.
