What you'll contribute to: We are looking for a
Senior Consultant to join our Technical Services team.
This role is ideal for a highly capable IT generalist with a strong AWS/cloud mindset, who enjoys working across infrastructure, architecture, operations, and continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in designing, supporting, and evolving our hybrid cloud environments, while also providing support across operational excellence and technical direction. This is a
permanent full-time position based at our
Sydney Olympic Park office, open only to
Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

- Drive architecture decisions across cloud and on-prem environments
- Contribute to DR, BCP, and high-availability architectures
- Improve scalability, reliability, and security of systems
Infrastructure & Operations - Provide Level 3 support across cloud and internal environments
- Manage hybrid infrastructure including:
- AWS (core focus), with some Azure exposure
- Windows & Linux systems
- Networking (VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS, DHCP)
- Administer databases and application servers
- Own backup, monitoring, and incident management processes
Technical Leadership & Governance - Mentor junior team members and support capability growth
- Oversee production changes and infrastructure releases
- Lead troubleshooting for critical incidents
- Ensure strong operational controls, auditability, and security
Continuous Improvement - Analyse SLA and performance metrics
- Drive automation, process improvements, and cost optimisation
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver outcomes
What are we looking for? - Strong experience across AWS cloud infrastructure (essential)
- Broad IT generalist background across infrastructure & operations
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windows & Linux environments
- Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange
- Proven ability to design and operate scalable infrastructure solutions
Certifications & Skills - AWS Certification (highly preferred)
- Azure experience (desirable)
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management capability
- Experience in documenting and governing environments
