Senior Applications Analyst

Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Analyst to join our Technology team. This is a great career opportunity to play a key role in supporting, enhancing and optimising the business applications that help connect our people, operations and airport communities.

In this role, you will provide application support, analysis and continuous improvement across QAL’s enterprise application environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and the broader Technology team, you will help ensure our systems are reliable, secure, fit for purpose and aligned to business needs.

How will you make an impact?

Reporting to the Applications Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and improving QAL’s business applications, with a focus on delivering practical technology solutions that improve user experience, streamline processes and support operational performance.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and customer-focused applications professional with strong analytical skills, sound technical capability and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system outcomes. You will be confident working across multiple applications, managing competing priorities and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Key deliverables/responsibilities

In this role, you will support the effective delivery, administration and improvement of QAL’s application landscape. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing advanced application support, analysis and troubleshooting across QAL’s business systems.
• Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify improvement opportunities and deliver fit-for-purpose application solutions.
• Supporting system configuration, testing, upgrades, enhancements and release activities.
• Contributing to application governance, documentation, user guides, process mapping and knowledge sharing.
• Partnering with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues, manage changes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting data quality, reporting, integration and automation opportunities across enterprise applications.
