Parks & Gardens Field Technician

UGC Group is a quality-accredited and rapidly growing Parks & Gardens and Environmental provider based in Canning Vale.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team as Parks & Gardens Field Technicians. This role offers a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team maintaining and improving parks, gardens, and public spaces across the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating minor machinery required for landscape management (brush cutting, mowing, hedging)
• Operating ride on mowers and spray units etc
• General grounds maintenance duties
• Planting, mulching, and pruning
• Weed and pesticide treatment
• Effective WHS compliance
• Maintaining and cleaning vehicles, tools, and depot areas

  
To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate the following skills & attributes;

Essential;

• A positive, proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Experience and Skills in landscape and ground maintenance.
• Experience with ride on mowers, blowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, hand tools, and power tools 
• A good level of health and fitness is integral to success in this role
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical.
• White Card
• Minimum Valid C Class driver’s license & reliable transport to & from place of work (Canning Vale)

  
Preferred; (but not essential)

• Trade qualification (working towards) in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture 
• Pest Management Technician License is highly advantageous
• HR Driver’s License
