About the role
Ozmarks Group has been delivering road marking and pavement surfacing across Victoria for nearly a decade. We're growing, we're taking on more work, and we're building the team to match.
We work with local councils and construction clients across the state, from metropolitan Melbourne through to regional and remote Victoria. It's varied, hands-on work and there's plenty of it.
We invest in our people. New starters are trained on the job by experienced crew, and we support further ticket and licence upgrades for those who want to progress. Full-time positions are on offer for the right candidates, and we actively promote from within. Leading hand and team leader roles are there for people who earn them.
We operate two shifts: afternoon shift (6.30pm Sunday to Thursday) and day shift (6.30am Monday to Friday). You'll be placed on one shift to start, but operational requirements may see you moved between the two. Overtime is regularly available with our projects often requiring us to stay onsite until works are completed. We service major roads, local councils and construction projects all over the state, so overnight and multi-day stays are required from time to time.
Existing road marking experience isn't required, but it's highly valued. What matters more is a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a genuine drive to do quality work.
Your day would include:
Operating thermoplastic extrusion machinery
Setting out roads to be line marked
Driving vehicles to site
Implementing Traffic Management Plans
Reading and interpreting construction drawings
Applying preformed thermoplastic and cold applied plastic
Assisting with equipment and machinery maintenance
Working to Ozmarks Group management system and OHS requirements
We're looking for people with:
A strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Ability to work away and on weekends
Manual car licence
White card
TMI 1/2 and TC 1/2
Valid Australian work rights including citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work visa
Its a bonus if you have:
TMI 3
Heavy Vehicle License
RIW Card
