Showroom Sales Consultant

About the Role

This position suits someone who enjoys selling, thrives on customer interaction, and takes pride in achieving strong sales outcomes.

You will be responsible for confidently engaging customers, understanding their needs, presenting suitable options, and closing sales effectively.

Working hours:

• Maximum 37.5 hours per week

• Rotating between Joondalup and Osborne Park

• Required to work an average of 2 Saturdays in 4 on roster

  • Saturday hours: 9:00am – 2:00pm

  • A full weekday off will be rostered in lieu for Saturdays
    

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers confidently and professionally from the moment they enter the showroom

• Identify customer needs quickly and convert enquiries into sales

• Recommend suitable products and guide customers toward purchase decisions

• Prepare quotations and follow through to secure orders

• Build rapport and trust with customers to encourage commitment

• Maintain strong product knowledge to support confident selling

• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales outcomes

• Maintain a professional and well-presented showroom environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is sales-focused, confident, and results-driven.

Essential skills and experience:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably showroom, retail, or consultative sales

• A strong track record of converting enquiries into sales

• Confidence in guiding customers toward decisions

• Excellent communication and persuasion skills

• Strong English and numeracy skills

• Good everyday computer skills

• Professional presentation and positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of sales outcomes

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience using MYOB

• Experience in building products, home improvement, or renovations

• Interest in home renovation or construction products
