Senior Workers Compensation Case Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bring your skills as an experienced Senior Case Manager in Workers Compensation to a national leader in the Commercial Cleaning Industry. Experience with Self Insurance is also beneficial.

Utilise your expertise in Case Management, to work with our experienced 3rd party injury management specialist to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive outcomes. You will also be the Case Manager where and when required as well as conducting other internal compliance functions as required..

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contractor Management – develop positive working relationships, track performance and drive positive outcomes.

• Assess claims strategies for effectiveness and promote alternative solutions where appropriate.

• Review legislation and compliance guidelines to ensure obligations are met.

• Perform internal auditing against NSW Self Insurer framework.

• Report on key metrics, identifying risks and opportunities.

• Monitor, review and assist in the development of injury management plans.

• Participate in claims reviews, case conferences and/or face to face meetings.

• Review and authorise ‘reasonably necessary’ treatment and other expenses within agreed guidelines.

• Determine what payments a worker is entitled to and ensure they are received.

• Support other internal compliance functions as required.

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 3 years’ Case Management experience in workers compensation.

• Team leader & management experience preferred.

• Self Insurance experience preferred.

• Experienced in Injury Management systems and processes.

• Ability to constructively work with multiple stakeholders.

• Ability to multitask and shift priorities when needed.

• Proactive, self-motivated and high attention to detail.

• Skilled in analysing data and developing reports to drive business decisions.
