Dental or Orthodontic Nurse/Assistant - South West Sydney

An excellent opportunity for an individual seeking employment within the dental industry to work alongside and join our fun, young, dynamic team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to help us provide high-quality care for our patients. Looking for someone for a casual position with the potential intention of a permanent near full time position in the long run for an appropriate candidate.

Our team specialises in personalised orthodontic care, focusing on transforming the smiles of our patients.

Previous experience highly preferred but not essential as training will be provided onsite.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• General reception duties - answering phones, organising appointments, taking payments

• Chairside assistance for Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapists

• Sterilisation of equipment

• Setting up and closing of surgery

• Additional general duties

• There may be an opportunity to co-work with our affiliated general dental team or even work entirely in a general dental setting assisting a dentist in providing general dental care

Ideal candidate should have:

• Strong attention to detail and show initiative 

• Ability to work in fast paced environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to time manage and multi-task

• Computer skills

• High level of personal hygiene and cleanliness

Successful candidate requirements:

• Able to commute between practice locations (own vehicle preferred)

• Flexibility to work long hours with early start and late finish. May be required to work Saturdays.
