Job DescriptionIS Group About the role: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Survey Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of a wide range of surveying projects, working closely with the Lead Surveyor and broader team to ensure accurate data collection and timely project outcomes.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys both field and office-based work and is committed to quality and safety. Role responsibilities: Undertake field surveys and collect data for maps and plans, including topography, boundaries, and existing infrastructure Assist in processing, reducing, and preparing survey data and plans Support the delivery of surveying projects in line with schedules, quality standards, and client requirements Maintain survey equipment, vehicles, and ensure all checklists and records are completed accurately Liaise with clients and team members to ensure project needs are met and workflows are efficient Key requirements: Previous experience in a surveying or similar technical role Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and with clients High attention to detail with the ability to manage and process data accurately Current Driver’s Licence and White Card (Construction Induction) Relevant qualification (TAFE Diploma or similar) is desirable What we offer: Being a valued member of the ISGroup means you will be given an opportunity to make an impact on the group of companies during a time of growth and expansion!
