Receptionist

A rare opportunity to join a long-established private Club in Sydney’s CBD. We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional Receptionist to join our dynamic team in a casual capacity.

Your main responsibility will be to welcome Members and their guests, make event bookings and to ensure that calls and emails are responded to promptly and courteously. The role plays an important part in providing excellent service to our long-standing Members. The position is both daytime and evening shifts.

To be successful for this role you will need to have the following attributes:

• Providing friendly, personalised Member service in person or by phone.

• Experience in effectively managing a high volume of incoming phone calls whilst providing Members with detailed, accurate and timely information.

• Fluent spoken and written English.

• A high standard of personal presentation and grooming standards.

• Attention to detail and prompt attention to Members and Guests.

• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills (verbal and written).

• Highly organised and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent computer skills.

• Ability to use initiative to solve problems.

• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have a strong work ethic.

• Flexibility in work hours.

• Have working rights in Australia.
