In the role of a Senior Analyst, Detection Management, you will join our Fraud Prevention & Detection team that’s doubling down on protecting the community and our customers.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
Improve engagement within our team, and grow our relationships with fraud operations teams and other stakeholdersImprovement in prevention & detection strategies to meet and exceed our annual targets for loss, customer experience and detection performanceDemonstrated leadership and involvement in initiatives that help reduce fraud and improve customer experienceIdentify and manage fraud risksGovernance ownership and accountability for fraud risks, controls, models and audit itemsEnsure all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of the health & safety policies procedures & legislationTo conform with all relevant internal operating policies & proceduresProvide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with bank standards, internal operating policies and proceduresDemonstrated understanding of fraud threats and shifts in trends within our businessContribution to the delivery of goals in-line with the Group Investigations and Fraud strategy.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
Demonstrated experience in a financial crime detection, credit risk, or data analytics roleExperience with exploring the use of large amounts of data (structured & unstructured)Proven ability to build new capabilities and evolve existing capabilitiesDemonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills (written & verbal) and an ability to confidently express ideas, findings or concernsDemonstrated ability to influence changeDemonstrated ability to produce emails and reports designed to inform and influence stakeholdersExtensive understanding of data analytics, data modelling, data strategies and sound technical experienceProven experience in working with data to translate quantitative and qualitative information to achieve outcomesProven exposure to database and application programming (including, but not limited to Quantexa, Power BI, SQL, SAS, Splunk, Python, R, Java, Drools).
