Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant (Contractor)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We have recently established a presence in Darwin and are looking for an experienced Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant contractor to partner with KINNECT as we grow our footprint in the Northern Territory.

We are looking to build a consistent workload with an established local contractor over time.

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting ergonomic and functional capacity assessments
• Performing workplace assessments and developing suitable duties programs
• Case managing injuries and coordinating with treating doctors and health professionals to support recovery and return to work
• Providing clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing
• Engaging management and safety representatives onsite
• Delivering injury prevention programs

ABOUT YOU

As a highly skilled Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Exercise Physiologist with experience in workplace rehabilitation, your talents and attributes include:

• Current registration with AHPRA or ESSA
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills
• An ability to work well under pressure and manage your own caseload
• Initiative to create value for our clients
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Your own company established and delivering similar services elsewhere, including current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurances in place
