HR Specialist

SYPAQ are seeking a HR Specialist to join our team on a full time basis, based in our head office located in Port Melbourne. Working as part of the People and culture team and reporting directly to the Head of People Capability and Culture this position will see you develop, implement, and interpret HR policies, manage employee data, and support employee relations, acting as a crucial link between management and staff.

Supported through your qualifications in Human Resources and or previous working experience this position will see you draw on your skill set to provide support across all HR functions including but not limited to;
 

• Policy development and implementation
• Compliance and reporting
• Employee relations and interpretation
• Employee engagement
• Training and development

Your Qualifications / Experience

• Qualifications in Human Resource Management / related field (Desirable)
• Demonstrated working experience in Human Resources / People & Culture
• Excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Strong computer skills and experience user of Microsoft Office
• Australian Citizen with the ability to apply for a Defence Security Clearance - Baseline
