What we are looking for:

McHugh Steel is looking for Truck Driver who holds an HC Licence to join the team, in this role everyday is different and if you like a role with variety this could be your new role. You will be more than just a truck driver, you will assist in the yard with loading/unloading and provide high level customer service to our clients.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Transport goods by road to and from distribution centre to clients across Queensland.

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers driving.

• Comply with all road rules.

• Load and unload goods at distribution centre and clients location, such as frames, trusses and roofing materials.

• Assist team with other duties when needed such as, customer service, housekeeping, loading/unloading trucks.

About You:

• Clean driving record

• Have a strong focus on customer service

• Ability to work within a team and autonomously

• Physically fit, some manual handling may be required

• Willingness to complete general hand duties to assist the team

Job Requirements

• Truck License - HC required

• CV Crane Ticket or ability to obtain

• Forklift license or ability to obtain

• Experience loading and unloading trucks
