Panda Recycling is a locally owned Containers for Change refund point based in Inala.

About the Role

This is a hands-on customer service role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Inala shop during your shift.

You’ll welcome customers, process container refunds, operate our refund system, and keep the shop clean, organised and running smoothly.

When customer traffic is quieter, you’ll manually count containers collected through our Home Collection service. This is an important part of the role and can involve counting thousands of bottles and cans, so accuracy, patience and attention to detail are essential.

As you’ll often be working independently, we’re looking for someone who is responsible, organised and confident managing the shop during their shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Process container refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the Containers for Change refund system.
• Count and sort bottles and cans accurately.
• Manually process large quantities of containers from our Home Collection service during quieter periods.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised shop.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop during your shift.

• Has valid working rights in Australia.
