Join a team where you can help older Australians stay safe, happy and healthy living in their own homes. A Registered Nurse role at Silverchain can offer you the refreshing change you’ve been looking for.
We can offer 2 days per week (ideally Mondays and Thursdays) on a regular basis around Port Macquarie, with occasional travel to Taree required.

What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing.2+ years post-graduate, with broad experience in general nursing.Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population (experience an advantage).Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians.Australian driver's licence.
The role
Provide wound, stoma, bowel care and catheter care (SPC + IDC).Apply advanced clinical assessment skills for chronic disease management. Administer medications and injections. Perform an optimum standard of nursing care to our clients. Use your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities to provide an optimum standard of care to our clients.
