Kids Zone Attendant

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as a Kids Zone Attendant. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while their parents enjoy a workout or a Group fitness class. As a Kids Zone Attendant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our members have a positive experience and can fully immerse themselves in our facility.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and engaging children in a variety of play-based activities

• Ensuring the Kids Zone is clean and safe

• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and childcare regulations and policies

• Communicating effectively with parents and providing updates to staff and parents

• Maintaining accurate records and attendance logs

• Cleaning, setup and pack-up of the Kids Zone as required

• General cleaning of the Kids Zone and Facility

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a childcare or recreation setting, preferably in a similar Kids Zone or creche environment

• A passion for working with children and providing a positive, nurturing experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both children and parents

• Reliable and Excellent organisational time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• A current First Aid, CPR certificate ,emergency anaphylaxis and asthma management qualifications. or the willingness to obtain one

• A valid Working with Children and Blue Card,  or the ability to obtain one
