Hotel Manager

As the Manager of this multifaceted venue, your primary role will be to drive the venue's successful operation and overall success. You will lead your team while overseeing a wide array of product offerings spanning traditional on-premises drivers including food, beverage, functions and events.

This role allows you to cover all aspects of the business while fostering strong community relationships, presenting an opportunity for you to elevate your career by leading a large, dynamic hospitality operation to higher levels of trade, performance, and team engagement.

Key Responsibility :

- Guest relations: welcoming customers, assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction

- Directing and overseeing reservations, reception, room service and housekeeping activities

- Inventory management and financial reporting

- Stock management and procurement

- Supervision and leading a team of bar staff, cooks and housekeepers

- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety, licensing and liquor regulations

- Supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance

- Planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activities

- Organising staff rosters

- Reporting to senior management

Skill / experience :

- Flexibility and highly adaptable

- A high-level customer service

- Problem solving

- Complete understanding of regulatory compliance

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a hotel / restaurant manager or similar role

- Excellent customer service and ability to lead and supervise a team

- Hold a current Unrestricted Managers licence

About the Hotel:

Bruce Rock is a thriving agricultural town located in the heart of the Wheatbelt, 245km east of Perth. The Bruce Rock Hotel is in the main street and offers lunch, dinner, and accommodation to visitors. The town is quaint, but offers all the modern comforts including supermarket, craft shop, chemist, community resource center, café, pool, sporting club & gym.

This role is based in Bruce Rock, offering a very strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary circa $80 000 - $90 000 per year in addition to superannuation.
