An excellent opportunity exists for an Experienced Production Operator in our Dandenong South Site, which is commissioning a European PET Hot Wash recycling plant who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and can confidently work under minimal guidance.

The Role

This person will be a member of an efficient and productive manufacturing team, which ensures outcomes are achieved in the timeliest and cost-effective manner.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a solid background in recycling, compounding, MRF sorting or Washing Plants.

A minimum of 2+ years' experience in recycling, compounding, MRF sorting or washing plants is required for this position.

The role is for set shifts working a standard 38-hour week.

Looking for Day and Night Shift operators

Day Shift hours 7am - 3pm Mon - Fri

Night Shift hours 11pm-7am Mon - Fri

Responsibilities Include:

1. Ensure plant and machinery is operated to stated procedures and standards.

2. Manufacture product to the specified quality.

3. Responsible for the equipment and area which has been assigned for the work period.

4. Play an active role in progressing the organisation for the future.

5. Ensure plant and area is maintained at agreed standards.

6. Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to

The Individual:

1. Must have a "can do" attitude with flexibility

2. Perform duties in a workmanship like manner.

3. Share in the responsibility of the overall work site.

4. Participate in relevant training development and skills progression for self.

5. Must hold a current Forklift License

6. Process control with particular emphasis on reduction of waste and maximizing output.

7. Australian work rights are required for this position.
