Warehouse/Dispatch Assistant - Clothing

About the Role

Muhan Corporate Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organised, reliable and motivated Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant to join our team at our Auburn warehouse.

The role is responsible for the day-to-day picking, packing and dispatch of clothing, uniforms and personal care products supplied to pharmacies and retail businesses across Australia.

Working as part of our warehouse team, you will play an important role in ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently, stock is maintained correctly, and customer delivery commitments are consistently met.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work and can effectively prioritise competing tasks and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack clothing, uniform and product orders accurately and efficiently.

• Process and prepare customer orders for dispatch within required timeframes.

• Print and process online and sales orders for dispatch.

• Ensure orders are picked correctly and checked for accuracy before dispatch.

• Coordinate daily warehouse workflow to ensure customer delivery deadlines are met.

• Monitor backorders and assist with reviewing weekly stock and order reports.

• Conduct regular stock top-ups and ensure products are stored in their correct locations.

• Maintain accurate stock placement and assist with general stock control.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times.

• Assist with receiving, organising and moving stock throughout the warehouse as required.

• Liaise with other members of the team to ensure orders and warehouse tasks remain on schedule.

• Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience in a similar role preferred.

• Experience in picking, packing, dispatch or stock control will be highly regarded.

• Experience working with clothing, uniforms, retail products or e-commerce orders is advantageous.

• Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day

Your typical day will involve:

1. Reviewing and printing incoming customer orders.

2. Picking the required clothing and products from warehouse stock.

3. Checking sizes, quantities, colours and product details against the order.

4. Packing orders securely and preparing them for dispatch.

5. Ensuring urgent and time-sensitive orders are prioritised.

6. Updating and monitoring stock levels and backorders.

7. Restocking warehouse locations and maintaining an organised warehouse.

8. Working with the wider team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
