Fire Industry Academy is looking for an elite technical expert in water-based fire systems to join us in a brand-new role. We want your industry brain — we'll teach you the education side! You'll become the “go-to” technical authority for wet and hydraulic sprinkler systems across our academy.

💫 The OpportunityIn this varied and highly rewarding role, you'll become the trusted technical authority on wet and hydraulic fire sprinkler systems. You'll help design educational materials, host industry webinars, provide high-level technical advice and train the next generation of fire protection professionals.
You don't need a training qualification to start — we fund and support your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) once you join.
🎯 What You'll DoShare your deep knowledge of wet and hydraulic sprinkler systems by running training courses, seminars and webinars.
Develop and update modern, industry-relevant educational materials and assessments for water-based fire systems.
Provide direct student support and mark assessments.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to the wider fire protection industry on wet/hydraulic sprinkler systems.
Your foundational expertise must be in wet/hydraulic fire sprinkler systems design or certification. Beyond design and certification, we'd love to see practical experience in one or more of the following:
Fire systems design for water-based / hydraulic sprinkler systems.
Fire systems certification.
Fire safety assessments and annual certification.
Routine inspection and testing of systems and equipment.
Mechanical smoke management systems.
If you're a design or certification expert with a solid working knowledge of a few of these other areas, we highly encourage you to apply!
💪 What You'll BringDeep, hands-on expertise in wet/hydraulic fire sprinkler systems design or certification.
A genuine passion for your trade and for raising standards across the industry.
A natural ability to mentor, explain and share knowledge.
Strong communication skills — written and verbal.
No Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)? No problem — we'll fund and support you to complete it.
Full working rights in Australia.
We fund your qualifications: you don't need a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to apply. We'll enrol you in the Certificate IV TAE when you start, paying for the course and giving you the time and supervision to complete it.
