About Us

We are Zambrero. Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick-service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies. For you, that means you will always work with yummy fresh ingredients that won’t leave you smelling like you just came from work. Our restaurants are open day and night so you can be flexible and keep up your work, school and play.

This is an exciting first for the Zam fam — our newest restaurant is launching Zambrero's first-ever breakfast and coffee menu! That means early morning shifts, the smell of fresh coffee, and a whole new crowd of regulars and aviators to win over before lunch even starts.

But we are not just a healthy quick service restaurant! We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought at Zambrero through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.

What You’ll Do

Our Assistant Restaurant Managers take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager with setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results.

Leading the restaurant team in efficient day to day operations including early morning breakfast and coffee serviceAssisting in managing your team, including hiring, training, rostering, and resolving any employee issues Ensuring food and coffee is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standardOverseeing barista operations, including espresso machine set-up, quality control, and keeping the coffee line moving during the morning rushAssisting with ordering of stock from various suppliersAssisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, and reviewing policiesManaging daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurantEnsuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
