HC Driver – Local Container Cartage - Perth Airport

Niche Logistics is seeking a skilled HC Driver with local container cartage experience in Perth. Become a valued member of our team based at Perth Airport.

This role involves transporting 20ft, 40ft and 48ft containers from the rail terminal, direct to customer or to our depot for unloading.

Full time Role: $34.14 per hour + penalty rate and full entitlements (Holiday & Sick Leave)

Hours are Monday to Friday with start times varying depending on the day of the week. Approx

• Mon 5.00am - 4.00pm

• Tues 6.00am - 3.00pm

• Wed, 7.00am - 2.00pm

• Thurs 7.00am - 2.00pm

• Friday 5.00am - 4.00pm

Duties include:

• Pickup and return of containers from the rail terminal

• Deliveries direct to customer sites or depot

• Safe operation of HC vehicles and skel trailers - Prime mover is a Fuso Shogun 510

• Reversing and maneuvering in tight spaces

• Daily interaction with customers and depot staff

• Compliance with transport and site safety requirements

Requirements:

• Current HC Licence (Auto or Unrestricted)

• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving HC vehicles

• Rail Pin/ National Pacific Induction (desirable)

• Experience with container cartage and skel trailers and an understanding of rail and container logistics

• Ability to handle 20ft, 40ft and 48ft containers confidently

• Knowledge of Perth metro routes

• Commitment to workplace and transport safety standards
