Forklift Operator

The Boat Works is seeking a skilled, motivated and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in the heart of the Gold Coast Marine Precinct.

About the Role

Working across our busy Boatyard & Superyacht Yard, you will support daily site operations, including support of vessel movements, materials handling and general yard activities.

The position also involves assisting with day-to-day waste management and operating a range of site equipment to help maintain a clean, efficient and safe working environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced marine environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts across the facility

• Assist with vessel movements and materials handling

• Support general boatyard and site operations

• Assist with waste management and site cleanliness

• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work environment

• Work collaboratively with the wider operations team

What We’re Looking For

• Current forklift licence — essential

• Experience operating forklifts in a busy industrial environment

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• Reliable work ethic and attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
