Experienced Dental Assisstant

Brunswick Dental Practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Dentist and assist with a wide range of general dental procedures, including surgical and wisdom teeth extractions.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during general and surgical dental procedures
• Preparing the surgery and instruments for treatments
• Assisting with surgical extractions
• Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards
• Processing instruments and managing stock
• Supporting patients before, during and after treatment
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience is essential
• Experience assisting with surgical extractions is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Reliable, organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential

This position would suit a confident and experienced Dental Assistant who is comfortable assisting with complex procedures and enjoys working closely with a supportive clinical team.

Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
